simplereferral is a developer product from clrty studio, currently pre-launch. This policy covers the waitlist site at simplereferralap.com. It is short on purpose: we collect little, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
• Optional details you provide at signup, such as whether you are building an app, whether you use an AI coding agent, and your stack. These help us prioritize onboarding.
• A referral code, if you arrived through someone else’s referral link.
• Basic usage analytics, such as pages visited and buttons clicked, through PostHog.

The deliverability checker tool runs DNS lookups on a domain you type in. We do not store the domains you check.

Why we collect it

• To operate the waitlist and send you one email when the private beta opens.
• To understand which channels bring interested builders, so we invest our effort well.
• To decide who to invite first as we open the beta in waves.

Where it lives

Your signup is stored in our own database on our infrastructure. We share data only with the processors that help us run the service: PostHog for analytics, and an email provider when we send beta invitations. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Analytics and cookies

We use PostHog to understand product usage. It may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can request that we exclude your data by emailing us.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email we send, at any time.
• Request access or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].

Retention

We keep your waitlist details until the beta has launched and a reasonable follow-up period has passed, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

Children

simplereferral is a tool for developers and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top.
